Following an established format, programs are offered in the fall, winter, and spring and vary in the number of sessions. The committee develops the schedule and finds volunteers to teach on a variety of topics.

LiR QV is a non-profit organization and the Board of Directors monitors all expenditures. In addition to overseeing the organization's finances, the committee supports LiR-QV's mission by funding scholarships for deserving CT State Community College Quinebaug Valley students.

This committee promotes LiR-QV throughout northeastern Connecticut by participating in community events, expos, radio programs, and other outreach activities. The committee also coordinates each semester's Open House.

Refreshments Committee

This committee is responsible for arranging refreshments that are required for LiR QV functions.

Scholarship Liaison

The liaison is a voting member of the Northeast CT Education Foundation (NCEF), coordinates a LiR QV donation drive, and awards scholarships at the annual Scholarships Night in May.

Information Technology Liaison
   Laura Roethlein
The Information Technology Liaison maintains the LiR-QV website and develops digital tools to support online registration, member communications, and Board operations.

Facebook Ad Hoc Committee

The committee administers the LiR-QV Facebook page, monitors content, and adds pertinent information from the various committees.
